The Rhaetian Railway Company’s train at Davos, Switzerland

The Rhaetian Railway (Rhaetische Bahn in German, often abbreviated to ‘RhB’), is the largest of the privately owned rail companies operating in Switzerland, alongside the Swiss Federal Railways. The photograph shows the company’s train arriving at Davos station – a tourist destination most of the year, but also the venue for the annual World Economic Forum, attended by top politicians and business leaders, with the laudable aim of “improving the state of the world”.
