Baarer Beer stall

The average Swiss citizen drinks 57 litres of beer per year, way behind the Czechs (143 litres) and the Germans (110 litres). Yet with close to 500 active breweries, this small European country has the largest number of breweries per head of population in the world. However 34% of the Swiss market is held by Carlsberg, 18% by Heineken, and imported beers add up to another 26%, leaving less than a quarter of the business for these smaller Swiss breweries. One of them is in the town of Baar, and this photo is of their stall which promotes their 15 different beers at festivals.
