Frankfurt am Main

A view across the river to the city of Frankfurt, in Germany, taken on a beautiful day when there was not a cloud in the sky. The middle building is the Main Tower, and on the right is the Commerzbank Tower, which is over 300m tall to the top of its antenna. Opened in 1997, the Commerzbank’s headquarters has 56 storeys and was designed by Sir Norman Foster. The Main Tower at 200m also has 56 floors, and boasts the best view of Frankfurt from its observation deck. (This is the only skyscraper in this European financial centre that opens to the public.) There is also a panoramic restaurant and bar where you can enjoy fine food and admire the view at the same time. It opens in the evening for dinner, so you can see the lights of the city at night. There are now 17 high-rise buildings in this modern city on the River Main.
We hope this little bit of the Frankfurt skyline makes an interesting version of our photo spotting game.
