A Singapore Airlines A380 on the ground at Zurich Airport

The A380 Airbus is currently the largest passenger aeroplane in the world. It typically carries 525 people, although if an airline configured it to take all economy class it could seat an astonishing 853 passengers. Singapore Airlines was the first aviation company to fly this European-built, 4 engine, wide-bodied, double-deck jet airliner. The airline’s first A380 entered service in October 2007.
